Congratulations on your upcoming wedding. You are soon--in one exciting, exhausting and exhilarating day--to take the first steps on a lifelong journey of love, companionship and mutual care. I am pleased to offer my years of experience officiating wedding services to make your ceremony heartfelt, inviting and fun. I provide personalized, non-sectarian Wedding services for all couples (including same-sex couples).

My weddings are fun, playful yet serious, and involve your guests so that everyone feels they were connected in a special way. I've learned, over many years of officiating weddings, how to keep your guests interested and "right there" with you. I speak of love, and of commitment...of joy and celebration...and all who attend go along with us for the "ride." I plan with you to make your ceremony everything you want it to be, taking time to get to know you as a couple and share your love-story with your guests. Weddings can occur anywhere, and I have done weddings in churches, at lakesides, city parks and private homes, and places as diverse as Portland's Benson Hotel on one hand, and a picnic shelter in Forest Park on the other. What's important is making the ceremony "your's".

I am licensed to perform services in any state, though I primarily officiate weddings in the greater Portland, Oregon Metro area. I do not require pre-wedding "counseling," but I will want to meet with you prior to the ceremony to get to know you and plan the event together--aiming for the most meaningful service for you.

As a musician and sound technician, I can also provide PA to fit your venue, microphones (including wireless), background music...and would be happy to recommend a number of local bands to fit your musical tastes and wishes.

My rates are as follows:

Basic "Justice of the Peace" Ceremony
(no planning, brief and informal). I come to you, officiate and sign and mail all licenses/documents $150
Planned/Formal Ceremonies:
Planning Meeting: Free
Ceremony (no rehearsal): $300
Rehearsal: $100
Travel over 50 miles: $25

Once you have decided to use my services, I request a non-refundable deposit of $50.00 to hold your date in my schedule, and the remainder of my fees payable after the ceremony and signing of the marriage license. I accept payment in cash or cashier's check/money order.
